Atomic and molecular layer deposition in pursuing better batteries

چکیده

In the past decade, atomic and molecular layer deposition (ALD MLD), these two sister techniques have been attracting more research attention to address technical challenges in various advanced battery systems. The charm of both ALD MLD lies their unique mechanism for growing a large variety functional materials, featuring uniform conformal films enabled at atomic/molecular level low temperature. Using MLD, date, there many excitements achieved research. These will ultimately be reflected on innovations that help revolutionize our lifestyles. This invited article gives first comprehensive review briefing journey pursuing better batteries highlighting exciting progresses It is expected this boost efforts using new technologies coming decade.
